We lend a helping hand! Corporate social responsibility at Radius

The winners after the Covid-19 pandemic, the survivors, will be the companies that can adapt quickly to the changed circumstances. It is not necessarily the biggest or the strongest that wins, but the one who is the most resilient, as is the case not only in biological evolution but also in the market economy.

How the pandemic inspired us ‒ the Coronavirus has spurred the development of new products

Of course, it is never just about our own survival and development. No company, not even the biggest multinationals, exists in a vacuum, but in close interaction with the wider society in which they operate.

We have fulfilled our moral duty in two ways. On the one hand, through our product developments, which have been a useful help in the fight against the pandemic. You can see more details in this short video:

Another tangible form of our social responsibility comes in the form of the direct donations we made to help the community. We are proud to have donated 500 hygiene face shields and 50 hand disinfectant poles from our range of crisis products to various social institutions.

Plastic face masks were given as gifts in Kiskunfélegyháza. The donation was received by Erzsébet Gálig, head of the Rainbow Personal Care Institution and László Balla, vice mayor, who stated that this gift will go a long way in helping them to provide safer care for people living in institutions.

Our CEO, Ferenc Borbás, takes the title of Captain Emeritus of Jász not only as an honour, but also as a great responsibility. Therefore, during the pandemic, Radius also donated 30 face shields to the Home for the Elderly from the Zagyva Valley, which is run by the municipality.

But that’s not all. We have donated heavy-duty, stainless steel infusion holders and epidemic protection bubbles to the St. Elisabeth Hospital in Jászberény, trusting that we can make their difficult work somewhat easier. Director General Róbert Sinkó Káli thanked Radius and Captain Ferenc Borbás for the donation.
